My fellow and I have been together for over fifteen years. We met randomly through Craigslist, when it still had a personals sections. He is a gamer, he's heavily tattooed with his own artwork, he is an artist who focuses on pen and ink work as well as bronze button making, his favorite food is soup, and he is the epitome of my dream dude. Life has been exponentially better with him by my side--we mesh incredibly well.	We adopted a dog called Apollo in 2010 at eleven months old. After a year-long battle with canine cognitive dysfunction (dementia), we made the decision to put him to sleep on July 28, 2023 at fourteen and a half years old. We miss you every day, little buddy <3.	We live in the Nevada desert, a place I never thought I'd return to after my two-years-long, mid-aughts stint came to an end. We're here for (my) family reasons, living in a little green stucco house, with scorpions as our landlords and a plethora of conservative Boomers as our neighbors. I appreciate I can walk to pretty much anywhere in town if I have to. I don't appreciate triple-digit heat.


I'm a travel enthusiast. In my nearly forty years, I've done a lot of domestic and a bit of international travel and I'm always craving more. More culture, more exposure, more everything. We spent a month of 2021 traveling the country (hitting twenty-five states in the process). I've been to New Zealand, Ireland, Scotland, Spain, Portugal, and Gibraltar (and France, technically, but that's a story for another day).	I quit my job at a holistic mom&pop pet store in November 2020 while I pursued further education for a copy editing certification. I have been in the editing world since June 2021 and have been having a blast proofreading for publishing houses, beta reading for indie authors, editing for sci-fi and romance authors, and my long-term job of editing for a kid's lit company.	I have a lot of hobbies, but my most recent obsessions have been writing (and publishing) romance novels, video games, and fiber arts. I love to read, cook, and explore as well. I like filling my time and keeping busy; I don't enjoy boredom.
